Project Management Establishment (PME)
Project Management is an activity undertaken by Project Management Establishment (PME) Division to create long-term value for the Organisation. The Division has structured its tasks for parallel functioning of Business Development & Project Management activities. It identifies global opportunities for R&D in project mode and also executes proper project management. Other primary activities include project agreements, memorandum of understanding with the industry and transfer of know-how to the industry. The Division made a paradigm shift to gain competitive advantage in the market. This shift reflects a proactive approach to identify opportunities in the Govt. of India flagship programmes like Make in India, Skill India, Swasth Bharat, Namami Gange, Smart Cities/Smart Villages, Food & Agriculture, Strategic Sector etc. In the same pursuit the business development group identified new target markets and transferred the technologies.
Transfer of Technology In
its endeavor to realize its vision CSIR-CSIO has accelerated the growth of
technology transfers. With an objective to increase the sustainability of the
Organisation the Business Development Group is engaged in various promotional activities and
the efforts have borne fruits. The number of technology transfers and revenue
generated from it are on rise. Memoranda of Understanding
(MoUs) Signed The institute has always accorded high priority to establish strong R&D-Academia-Industry linkages by entering into various MoUs with leading institutes & industrial partners with a view to share expertise and to foster networking of resources. Technology Demonstration CSIR-CSIO
participated in various events to showcase its technologies.
