INSTRUCTIONS FOR MTech STUDENTS DESIROUS OF COMPLETING DISSERTATION WORK AT CSIO

• Students desirous of completing their dissertation/project work at CSIR-CSIO are advised to thoroughly peruse the website (http:///www.csio.res.in) and contact the scientist of interest. Please click here for information on whom to contact regarding your project.

• Bring the request letter from your University (on the University letterhead), stating your name, registration number, course, dates and length of dissertation / project period, signed and stamped by the Head of Department.

• Click here for a copy of the IPR form which must be signed and stamped by both your University and CSIR-CSIO guides.

• Also bring your University Id Card, a scanned copy of your passport size photograph and both originals and 1 copy each of your certificates and all mark sheets for verification.

• Note that the Project Work is for six to 12 months. In case you have course work to attend in your third semester, only applications at the beginning of the third semester will be entertained so that your topic and background work are finalised and so that you begin your preparatory work in the third semester itself.
