Agri-Instrumentation is one of the thrust areas under Supra-Institutional project.  The main focus of the programme is to develop technologies related to sensors and instrumentation for pre-harvest, post-harvest and quality assessment in soil quality and agri-produce.New R&D areas taken up were development of sensors and associated instrumentation at field level (soil salinity, pesticides detection, crop growth), Quantification of quality (tea, honey), etc.  Major activities include:
